Ok rookie ass question here. I have a 96’ yz125 that I just replaced the clutch cable that I snapped and backed the lever adjuster almost all the way out and she still don’t engage so does that mean my cable too long or is there a way to adjust the slack from the bottom of the cable ?
@@youtubr400 I’d try adjusting the cable at the. Bottom by the clutch cover. If that don’t work the cable is to long
Thank you for the video I just replaced my clutch lever yesterday and can’t get it to engage but now I know what I need to do thank you
@@xandernitz1345 awesome! No problem
do you need to buy another sparkplug wire? or could i just use the stock one and only change the box
@@A.6.K I actually bought a aftermarket plug wire on eBay to, didn’t seem to improve anything though
How much you paid for the SANY SY35U
@@Oicram-p2y the guy paid I think 37-40k for it
looks good 👌
@@noahcarter1632 thank you!
Did you seriously say 1.5 ounces? What's the point of designing it that way? I take shots heavier than that!
lol yeah they didn’t have much
What happends when you max out your cable throw by the lever? New cable or?
Clutch adjustment at the bottom at the clutch case may need adjusting
Is it dangerous to run this mulcher on a skid steer with no cab?
Yes. I wouldn’t do it! Things shoot back at the door all the time.
Great video! 😀
What weight engine oil did you use?
15w-40
In high school I lived in the country. Did farm work, handyman stuff. After high school went into the Army to get college paid for, learning computer programming at home, got a job creating video games and worked at 14 tech startups. Few things I learned. #1. If you're going to get paid by the hour why not look for the highest hourly rate? Several times a week be researching new jobs, new areas to move to with better jobs. Be rational. #2. Next step up is to find jobs where you get a salary plus something else. Stock, royalties, bonuses. #3 Next step up is to get income from something you create. It takes me 6-18 months to create a software product and then those sell with little additional work. Salary is limited to hours you can work. Even doctors and lawyers are limited. Products are almost unlimited. But this is just products. Home rental generate income on their own almost. Hiring employees who earn you money. #4 Money earns money. When starting out this is really hard to see. $1000 in the bank earning 3% get's you $1030 at the end of the year. Big deal. But $10k earns $300. $100k earns $3000. If you can save $1000/mo (I know, it seems a lot) then at 5% in 30 years you have $800k. Or invest in an S&P index fund which has averaged 10% and have $2 million after 30 years. The reality saving $1000 at the start will be hard, maybe not possible. But future years it should become much easier because if you tried when younger you will have learned by necessity how to spend wisely, how to find money and the value of money. So at the start it's less about the amount and more about learning. But if you learn bad habits at the start, give up, you're likely dooming yourself. #5 I love landscaping, clearing. I really do. I've flipped house the past 22 years for fun and those jobs I like best. But that work doesn't pay well. When a person grabs a job that just happens to be available where they happen to live they get trapped. If clearing land, lot clean ups is the only business we can see around you maybe that's what you try. But smarter to look at a bigger picture. What if you moved to Phoenix? CA? What opportunities are there? I've lived and worked in 7 states and 2 countries. Follow the money. Retire early and then live where you want to live.
Bro I need a link to that FMF exhaust I got the xr100r as well
I bought it on ebay
You are still fortunate
Sure thing!
It's getting worse, past week or two
It’ll get worse throughout the year probably
I’m pretty sure small businesses are struggling more because of this economy. I appreciate your courage in starting your own business and sharing your experience. All is not lost and I’m sure the valuable lessons learned along the way will guide your new ventures. I will stay a subscriber and look forward to seeing new videos.
I’m sure. No problem! I learned a lot being out there doing it, it was awesome. Thanks for the subscribe! I’ve got a lot of mulching related video topics I’ll be covering soon
What size is that bucket?

@@85ccmaster gosh, mines too gawd dayum loud. lol
Do you still have the shop manual? I’d pay for pictures of the whole process on how to change the breaks and clutches
I don’t. I bought it on eBay I believe
I hope the transition to the new job works out for you Dakota. I want to thank you for keeping us updated. If you have any interesting archived videos please post them.
Thank you! I’ll continue posting videos, I’ve got a bunch of mulching topic videos to make
Hey man what makes it start slipping o ce it's under a load? I have new clutches and all.
Make sure it’s the right oil in it, the wrong kind can make it slip. Also check & make sure the clutch cable is adjusted correctly. If it’s to tight it’ll engage even when you let of the clutch
Dakota, I agree with you 100% about how this economy makes starting any business very risky. I hope that you can withstand this turndown and rebound your business when you know who returns to the White House.
It’s definitely challenging. My area is also flooded with small business doing equipment work to. But the customer field has shrunk, so it’s pretty hard right now. I’m going to be doing it on the side soon is the plan.
Hey have you ever had issues with your machine bogging down and loosing power while mulching?
I put a wicked wheel in my 04 and it sounds nothing like that. I’m pissed.
Is it straight piped?
Yep 4” off the turbo
Dakota, this is an excellent video! How much land was cleared on this job?
Thank you! That one, probably a acre in a narrow strip shape
How much did that cost?
9k
9 acres took a month to mulch?
92.5 hrs, it was fully grown in with tons of 8-12” pines
@@85ccmaster Was there no value in the pine trees to a papermill?
I like the fast forward, Lewis
Could I get your number to talk to you about how you got started?! I work for the county in my county but sick of the political bull crap and have been thinking about this. Thank you!
Sure, it’s eightzerothree 6eightseven six3eight2
Part number?
I don’t have any part numbers for the truck, it sold years ago
Damn, that’s a marathon, lots of guys would have just rented a big dedicated machine but it shows if you’re willing to take it piece by piece and keep at it, it indeed can be done. True testament to the 500hf head and the groovy teeth gen2. Very impressive.
Yep, it was just one section at a time, felt good to take down the last tree. Two sets of teeth to was used
Thanks for the informative video, had watched 2 before this and this is the only one that worked. Definitely subscribing!
You wouldn't be able to use it all up in either version.. The oem stuff for the power valve is mostly all n/a

Thank you!

Trying to decide between the standard 25hp gas’s or the 16.8 diesel upgrade.
Me personally I love the diesel. Will last longer in the long run & has a little more torque. It’s ok on fuel consumption

Really cool, you might be able to sell those ones for more because they’re custom. I’d leave a couple in there for nostalgia. See if anybody wants to buy one like that.
I removed them, the one on the thinner slab was hardly in the wood the blade must’ve loosened it up
Sounds like a freaking vacuum cleaner
